WELCOME

I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Politics, Philosophy, and Public Affairs at Washington State University. I previously held a tenure-track position in the Department of Political Science at Florida Atlantic University. My primary research interests are in comparative and American politics, with a focus on gender, nationalism, and political behavior. My work has been published in Political Behavior, Politics, Groups, and Identities, Political Science Quarterly, and Politics & Gender.

Prior to earning my Ph.D. from the Department of Politics at the University of Virginia, I spent several years in public service working for the United States House of Representatives and the Virginia House of Delegates. I was also an editorial assistant at the American Journal of Political Science.
